First Visit

First time appointments must be scheduled 48 hours in advance due to high volume during promotional periods. Same day appointments/next day appointments are reserved for our preferred clients. If you would like information on preferred membership please ask one of our customer service representatives about our Programs.

At THE BODYLUX, we want you to feel at ease as soon as you enter our massage studio . If you have never had a massage here or ever you might not know what to expect. You can anticipate the following on your first visit:

What To Expect


1 You'll arrive about 15 minutes prior to your appointment time and fill out an intake form with the receptionist.  It’s important to answer the survey honestly so that your therapist can tailor your session to your needs.  We will not share this information without your permission. 2 Your Massage Therapist (MT) will come meet you and walk you back to your room.  Your room is private, secure and quiet.  Music is provided, but you may bring your own, if you prefer.  (We love mp3 players.)

3 Your MT will discuss your survey answers, answer any initial questions you may have, review the types of massage, possibly make recommendations, and discuss the outcome of your treatment.

4 Your massage therapist will leave the room, allowing you to privately undress to your comfort level. All body parts that are not being worked on will be draped with a sheet for privacy and warmth. Once disrobed, you will lay either face up or face down, depending on the massage, as instructed under the draping cloth.

5 Your massage therapist will knock on the door, to ensure privacy and re-enter the room to begin your session. We encourage communication especially as it regards pressure, areas to be worked on and questions or concerns.  Your therapist is ready to work with you to ensure you receive desired results.

6 After your massage is done the therapist will leave the room again and allow you to dress.

7 Your MT will meet you outside the door  to discuss future massage needs, help you schedule your next appointment, guide you to water, and to make recommendations for at home care if needed.


24 Hour Cancellation Policy:

We aim to provide our clients the highest quality service and pride ourselves on our exceptional team.  If you should cancel your reservation less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who may have taken your scheduled reservation time.  For this reason we are obligated to compensate our team for their time as well as make up for lost revenue.

The full service fee will be charged to you for missed reservations that are rescheduled or canceled less then 24 hours notice.  We require 48 hour notice on canceled or rescheduled gift certificates, multiple people/treatment reservations and series appointments.


We reserve the right to refuse service to individuals with certain medical conditions without the proper doctors approval in writing.
